Hello

Thank you for looking at my blog. My latest passion is applique which I have been doing since 2015. I love making things and learning new crafts On this blog you will see some of the things I have been working on. You will also see wonderful items created by other people. When I am not crafting I enjoy being with family and friends, singing and family history. My favourite place in the whole world is anywhere by the sea and I have to get my fix every few weeks. My favourite colour is PURPLE but I love turquoise too!

Getting ahead

I am really enjoying the construction of the fingerless gloves so I have decided I will make lots for Christmas presents. I found this gorgeous multi coloured sock yarn and there was enough to make 2 pairs of gloves from one skein with some left over. Nora had one pair for her birthday and Eanna declared them "cool".
 
What to do with the leftover yarn? I know! Knit lots of little jumpers for card toppers. They need some beads on the ends.
 
I have now ordered some gorgeous purple/turquoise yarn and some lavender blue/green/navy yarn so lots more pairs to do.
